HCET celebrated a combined event marking Engineers’ Day and the Induction Program for newly admitted students of B.Tech, M.Tech, III Sem (Lateral Entry), and MBA (2025–26 session). Engineers’ Day is observed annually to honor Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, whose exemplary engineering legacy continues to inspire the nation. The guests were welcomed by Principal Dr. Rinkuy Kathuria. The program was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Rajeev Chandak, Principal, JEC, and the event was preceded over by professors from IIITDM Prof. Puneet Tondon, HoD, Mechanical Department and Prof. Atul Gupta, HoD, Computer Science Department. The Guest of Honor was Mr. Mukul Khamparia, Vice President, Hitkarini Sabha and Adv Jayesh Singh Rathore, Secretary, Hitkarini Vidya Parishad. Special Guestfor the day was Er. Nitin Agarwal, Chairman of the College. Their words encouraged students to strive for academic and professional excellence. All staff members were present. Chief Guest Dr. R. Chandak in his address inspired the budding engineers about the role of engineers in the society. In similar line, Hon’ Chairman of HCET Er. Nitin Agarwal motivated the students for innovation and best practices. Vote of thanks was given by prinicipal of the college Dr. Rinku Kathuria. Later the event included some engaging student performances such as songs, dances, treasure hunt, Technical Quiz and a musical skit, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for the new batch.
The Induction Program for the newly admitted B.Tech (1st Year & Lateral Entry), M.Tech, and MBA students was successfully held on 20th September 2024. Mr. Naman Agarwal was the Chief Guest. Dr. Rinku Kathuria and Shri Satish Ranka, was also present along with all HODs, faculty & staff members. The sessions included a detailed presentation about college and Training and Placement by Prof. Amit Kuraria and Prof. Divyanshu Pyasi. Next session was an address by the Alumni Mr. Akash Singhai of batch 2010. The post lunch session included a lecture under UHV. The speaker was Dr. Rajshree Kapoor from Govt. Science College. The program was organized under the guidance of Prof. Anshuta Sharma and Prof. Sharad Nema. The event was a wonderful introduction to college life.
